Mushy Callahan, born Vincent Morris Scheer on November 4, 1904, in New York City, was married to Leonora Summers until her passing on June 29, 1976. Not just an actor, Callahan was also a notable boxer, earning the title of World middle-welterweight champion from 1926 to 1930. He was inducted into the World Boxing Hall of Fame in 1989.
