Myron Healey

Myron Healey was born as Myrton Daniel Healey on June 8, 1923, in Petaluma, California. Throughout his life, he was married four times, including briefly to Adair Jameson and Elizabeth Mary D’Errico. He had one child from his marriage to D’Errico, and during World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a navigator and bombardier.

Career

Healey was known for playing villains, especially in Westerns, thanks to his deep voice and striking looks. He began acting after studying under Maria Ouspenskaya and made his mark in various films and TV series. Besides his villain roles, he also occasionally played sympathetic characters, showcasing his range as an actor.

Death and Legacy

Myron Healey passed away on December 21, 2005, in Burbank, California, due to respiratory failure. His body was donated to the University of California in Los Angeles for medical research. Although he may not be widely recognized today, his contributions to film and television, particularly in the genre of Westerns, left a lasting impression on fans of classic cinema.
