Personal and Family Life

Nancy Parsons was born to Mary Margaret Samsa and Charles Walter Parsons and grew up with two sisters, Mary Jean and Theresa Mae. When she was 17, her father remarried, and the family moved to South Pasadena, California, where she discovered her passion for acting. After graduating from the Pasadena Playhouse, she married Alan Hipwell and had two daughters, Elizabeth and Margaret.

Career

After her divorce, Nancy returned to acting while studying at UCLA, where she earned a theatre degree and received the Hugh O’Brien Award. Throughout her career, she collected various awards, including a Family Film Award for Best Actress in “Porky’s Revenge” and a nomination from the Academy of Science Fiction and Fantasy for “Motel Hell.” Apart from her film and TV achievements, Nancy was known for her belief in passionately pursuing art as a noble endeavor.
