Nikolai Bubnov studied acting at the Vakhtangov Theatrical School in Moscow from 1924 to 1927 and graduated as an actor. Afterward, he became a permanent member of the Vakhtangov Theatre troupe until 1972. Throughout his career, he worked alongside many renowned actors and delivered memorable performances.

Career

His significant stage roles include Don Pedro in Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing” and Neizvestny in Mikhail Lermontov’s “Maskarad.” His talent was recognized in 1962 when he was honored as a People’s Actor of Russia.

Death and Legacy

Nikolai Bubnov passed away on December 31, 1971, due to heart failure in Moscow, Russia. He was buried in the Vvedenskoe Cemetery, leaving behind a legacy cherished by fans of theater and cinema alike.
