Noah Young was born on February 2, 1887, in North Park, Colorado. He had a long and successful career in silent film, appearing in over 170 movies between 1918 and 1935. Although he never married, he shared a close relationship with Hattie Bonney, the widow of a race car driver, for many years. Young led a relatively private life away from the spotlight after his acting career.
Death and Legacy
Noah Young passed away on April 18, 1958, in Los Angeles, California, due to a heart attack shortly after undergoing a hernia operation. He was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, and his longtime friend Harold Lloyd was in attendance at his funeral. Young’s roles as menacing but foolish characters left a lasting impression on early comedy films.
