He married Maisia Felnus on August 29, 1907, in New York City, and they welcomed a son named Henry Charles Cills in January 1909. Death and Legacy
Norbert Cills passed away from broncho-pneumonia on February 20, 1920, in San Francisco, at the age of 32. He was buried the following day at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colma, California. His tombstone features a touching inscription, reflecting the love and sorrow of those who mourned him.
