Orie Robertson began his acting career at the Grand Opera House in Los Angeles in 1908. He transitioned to movies in 1920, taking on roles primarily as a cowboy and stuntman. During World War I, he served in the Remount Service. Robertson was also active in local organizations, belonging to the Hollywood Masonic Lodge and the Chuck Wagon Trailers.
