Oscar Castro was an American actor best known for his roles in Notorious Nobodies, La petite allumeuse, and Los enemigos.

Born on May 13, 1947, in Santiago, Chile, Oscar Castro was a prominent figure in the theater community. He founded the Aleph theater in 1968 along with friends, including notable political figure Michelle Bachelet. After the Pinochet coup, he was exiled to France, where he established a new version of the theater, which is still active today. He was the father of theater actress Andréa Castro and had a son named Cosme Castro.
