Pat Summerall

Pat Summerall was an American actor who is best known for his roles in The Replacements, Black Sunday, and The Simpsons.

Personal and Family Life

Pat Summerall was born George Allen Summerall on May 10, 1930, in Lake City, Florida. He was married twice, first to Katharine Elliott Jacobs, with whom he had three children, and later to Cherilyn Burns. His first wife, Kathy, passed away from cancer in December 2005. Summerall also played professional football for 10 years as a kicker and had a brief career as a defensive lineman and offensive end in the NFL.

Pat Summerall died on April 16, 2013, in Dallas, Texas, due to cardiac arrest. He left behind a legacy in both sports and entertainment, being remembered as a talented commentator and actor.
