Patricia Breslin

Patricia Breslin was an American actress who is best known for her roles in “The People’s Choice,” “Alfred Hitchcock Presents,” and “The Twilight Zone.” She had a successful career in television and film, captivating audiences with her performances.

Personal and Family Life

Born on March 17, 1926, in New York City, Patricia was the daughter of Edward and Marjorie Breslin. Her father worked as a special sessions judge in New York. Patricia attended the College of New Rochelle, where she graduated with a B.A. in psychology and participated in leading roles in numerous plays. In 1953, she married David Orrick McDearmon, an actor and writer, with whom she had two children before divorcing in 1969. Later, in 1969, she married Art Modell, remaining with him until her death in 2011.

Death and Legacy

Patricia Breslin passed away on October 12, 2011, in Baltimore, Maryland, due to complications from pancreatitis. She and her husband, Art Modell, were laid to rest in a large private crypt at Druid Ridge Cemetery in Pikesville, Maryland. Breslin’s contributions to television and film are remembered by fans of classic American entertainment.
