Patricia J. Statz

Patricia J. Statz was an American actress who is best known for her role in The Demons of Ludlow. She was born on January 25, 1960, in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, and tragically passed away on September 11, 2001, during the terrorist attack on the Pentagon.

Personal and Family Life

Patricia was born to JoAnn (Marek) and Vincent Statz and grew up in Chippewa Falls. She completed her degree in Theater at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and later at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1983. In 1989, she married David Carroll in Bamberg, Germany, where they formed meaningful relationships with their neighbors and local families.

Education and Career

After moving to Germany, Patricia worked as an actress and director at U.S. Army base theaters in Heidelberg and Bamberg. She enjoyed traveling across Europe and guiding family and friends who visited. Patricia also obtained a Master’s degree in Education while in Germany. In 2000, she and her family returned to the U.S. and bought a home in Takoma Park, Maryland, where she began working at the Pentagon.

Death and Legacy

Patricia Statz’s life was abruptly cut short on September 11, 2001, when she became a victim of the terrorist attacks. She is remembered for her dedication to improving education, particularly for children with special needs and the gifted. Her legacy continues through her husband, David Carroll, and their two sons, Daniel and Erick, as well as through her extensive family.
