Paula Stone

Paula Stone was an American actress who is best known for her roles in Hop-a-Long Cassidy, Atlantic Flight, and The Girl Said No. Born on January 20, 1912, in New York City, she made a mark in the film industry during the 1930s.

Paula Stone was born to Fred Stone and Allene Crater. She had two siblings, Dorothy and Carol Stone. Paula was married twice, first to Duke Daly from 1939 until his death in 1943, and later to Nelson Michael Sloan in 1946, with whom she had two children, Michael and Judy.

Career

During her acting career, Paula Stone became known as a popular blond starlet of the 1930s. She was notably the first female lead in a Hopalong Cassidy western and a close friend of B-movie queen Patricia Ellis. Her performances in various films have left a lasting impression on the genre.
