Pepper Davis was an American actor who is best known for Vega$ (1978), When the Boys Meet the Girls (1965), and Knight Rider (1982).

Pepper Davis was born David Carl Asner on December 28, 1923, in Baltimore, Maryland. He was married to Judy Asner at the time of his death and had four children with her. He was previously married to Betty Holiday, with whom he had three children before their divorce.

Career

Pepper began his career as a comedian in Las Vegas, initially performing with Tony Reese as a duo called “Davis and Reese” before he embarked on a solo act. In addition to acting, he had a background as a jazz drummer and a tap dancer, which contributed to his performances.
