Pete Webster was born Belton Oneal Webster on October 11, 1905, in Waco, Texas. He was married to Celia Romero before marrying Lucie Dlugi on October 10, 1947. Together, they had four children: JeanPierre, Bernard O’Neal, Bernadette Olivia, and Charles Andre Webster. The couple later separated, but remained connected through their children until his death.

Webster began his acting career with a minor role in the film Gunga Din in 1939. He made a notable impact in sepia films, starring as the romantic lead in Broken Strings and portraying a detective in Four Shall Die.
