Peter Bennett was an American actor best known for Lady Chatterley’s Lover, The Adventures of Robin Hood, and BBC Sunday-Night Theatre.

Peter Bennett was born on September 17, 1917, in Chelsea, London, England. He was married to Sheila Bramwell-Jones since May 14, 1971. Bennett was also a Vice President of Equity and had a substantial estate of 3 million left in his will. He was trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and made his stage debut in 1936.

Career

Throughout his career, Peter Bennett appeared in various films and television shows, showcasing his acting skills. He was involved with the National Council for Drama Training starting in 1979. Bennett’s role in the film Cromwell (1970) was notable, as the original version was cut down significantly, affecting several other roles.
