Pinchoo Kapoor was the nephew of the famous actor Prithviraj Kapoor and the cousin of prominent actors Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor, and Shashi Kapoor. Initially named Pushpendra Rae, he adopted the name Pinchoo for his film career. His family background played a significant role in his entry into the film industry.
