Ping Ha was married twice. Her first marriage was to Yat-Fan Kong in 1964, with whom she had two children, but they divorced in March 1965. She later married Wan Chueng in 1970, and they remained together until his death in 1991. Her family roots trace back to Panyu, Guangdong in Southern China.
