Rajendra Kumar Tuli was born on July 20, 1927, in Sialkot, British India. He was married to Shukla and had three children: two daughters and a son named Kumar Gaurav, who became an actor. After his film career peaked, he transitioned to character roles and also worked as a producer. His son Kumar Gaurav found success in the film industry, notably in the film Love Story.
Death and Legacy
Rajendra Kumar passed away on July 12, 1999, due to cancer, just one day after his son’s birthday and a few days before his own 71st birthday. Despite his refusal to take medication, he left behind a legacy of memorable performances in Indian cinema, as well as a successful family in the film industry.
