Richard Van Allan was a remarkable bass singer and principal bass with the English National Opera, showcasing his talent in various opera productions. He made his Royal Opera debut in 1971, playing the role of the Mandarin in “Turandot,” and he also performed in the Metropolitan Opera in New York in 1987.
