Robert Liensol

Robert Liensol founded and managed the “Compagnie des Griots” from 1954 to 1972, which was the first French company of Black actors. His troupe included notable figures such as Darling Légitimus and Théo Légitimus. They performed several important plays, contributing significantly to French theatre.
