Robin Hughes

Robin Hughes was an American actor, born on June 7, 1920, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is best known for his roles in Dial M for Murder, The Twilight Zone, and The Flame and the Arrow. He passed away on December 10, 1989, in Los Angeles, California.

Personal and Family Life

Robin Hughes was born to Harold William Hughes and Rosa Violet Pitt. He was married twice: first to Diane Therese Pitman from 1954 to 1962, with whom he had two children, and then to Ursula Klara Binias from 1969 to 1980. During World War II, he served in the Royal Navy and was transferred from HMS Hood just before it sank in battle.

Death and Legacy

Robin Hughes died from liver disease on December 10, 1989. His contributions to film and television left a lasting mark, especially for fans of classic cinema and television shows. He is remembered for his versatile acting skills and engaging performances throughout his career.
