Romney Brent

Romney Brent was an American actor best known for his roles in Adventures of Don Juan, Zorro, and Dinner at the Ritz.

Personal and Family Life

Romney Brent was born Romulo Larralde on January 26, 1902, in Saltillo, Mexico. He married Gina Malo on April 13, 1937, and they had one child together. Unfortunately, their marriage ended with her death on November 30, 1963.

Career

Brent had a diverse career as a stage actor, playwright, producer, and director. He began acting on Broadway in 1922 and appeared in many notable productions over the years. He also transitioned to film, contributing notably to British cinema before returning to theater where he toured with a repertory company.

Death and Legacy

Romney Brent passed away on September 24, 1976, in Mexico City. His ashes were scattered outside Mexico City, honoring his life and contributions to the world of theater and film. He is remembered for his extensive work in stage and screen performance, as well as his role in teaching drama.
