Ron Hayes

Ron Hayes was an American actor who is best known for Everglades! (1961), The Invaders (1967), and Dallas (1978).

Personal and Family Life

Ron Hayes was born Ronald G. Hayes on February 26, 1929, in San Francisco, California. He attended Stanford University, where he earned a degree in foreign relations. After his studies, he served as a Marine lieutenant during the Korean War. Following the conflict, he moved to San Jose, California, and worked at KSJO radio before relocating to Hollywood to pursue acting.

Marriages and Children

Throughout his life, Ron was married four times. His spouses included Joan Sturgess, Betty Endicott, Caroline Muir, and Carol Capek. He had three children: Vanessa, Peter, and Heidi. Ron was also recognized as a passionate environmental activist and played a significant role in establishing Earth Day.

Death and Legacy

Ron Hayes passed away on October 1, 2004, in Malibu, California, due to a subdural hematoma following a fall. His contributions to both acting and environmental advocacy left a lasting legacy.
