He was the third of five siblings, with a diverse ethnic background including English-Irish, Native American, Mexican, and Eastern European heritage. Ronnie graduated from high school in 1965 in Lodi, NJ, and later enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam.

Career

After returning from military service in 1968, Ronnie pursued his dream of becoming an actor, studying under renowned instructors in New York City. He began his acting career in 1968, taking on various roles in theater and independent films. After a brief hiatus from acting, he returned to the military full-time and worked in various roles, including counter-intelligence, until his retirement in 2007. Following his military career, he resumed acting and singing, also volunteering at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
