Ronnie, whose birth name was Ronnell L. Bright, had a rich musical career that began after college when he accompanied famous artists like Sarah Vaughan, Lena Horne, and Nancy Wilson. He not only performed but also contributed to music as a songwriter, joining ASCAP in 1959. Some of his notable songs include “Missing You” and “Talk to My Heart.”
