Rosalie Roy was born Rosa Lee Anderson on June 13, 1909, in Portland, Arkansas. She married Alan Douglas Nowell Clark in March 1950, and they remained together until his death in January 1988. Roy was a close friend of the famous actress Jean Harlow and worked with prominent studios like Fox and Warner Brothers during her career.
