Ruth Brady was born on May 29, 1920, in Brooklyn, New York. She married Mike Road on July 21, 1948, and together they had a daughter, Donna Brady Road. Ruth was also a longtime close friend of the famous actress Judy Garland.

Career

Ruth Brady began her career when she was discovered while accompanying someone to a beauty pageant in Atlantic City. She got a singing and dancing role at the Copacabana Club in New York City and later appeared in Broadway shows like “The Boys from Syracuse” and “By Jupiter.” Her successful stage career led her to sign a contract with MGM, where she made a number of films throughout her career.

Death and Legacy

Ruth Brady passed away on June 3, 1997, in Los Angeles, California. Her contributions to film and theater have been remembered fondly, highlighting her talent and friendship within the entertainment community.
