Despite his children’s aspirations to become actors, Salvador discouraged them from pursuing that path. He was also the great-grandfather of writer Juan José Videgain.

Death and Legacy

Salvador Videgaín passed away on October 12, 1947, in Madrid due to pneumonia. His contributions to the theater and film industries were significant, making him a prominent figure during his time. He was a founding member of both the Society of Spanish Authors and the Union of Spanish Actors, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the Spanish performing arts.
