Previously, he was married to Maureen May Endicott and Gloria Talbott, both of which ended in divorce.
Career
After serving in the U.S. Army during World War II, Sandy developed a horse act and eventually ventured into Hollywood after encountering a film crew. He quickly found work as Gene Autry’s stunt double and became well-known for his stunt work and acting over a career that lasted four decades. In addition to acting, he trained horses and taught riding.
