Shobhna Samarth was the daughter of Rattan Bai and was married to Kumarsen Samarth. Together, they had four children: Nutan, Tanuja, Chatura, and Jaideep. She experienced a long estrangement from her daughter Nutan, but they reconciled in 1983, shortly before Nutan’s death in 1991.
Death and Legacy
Shobhna passed away from cancer in Pune, India, in 2000. At the time of her death, she had a large family, including seven granddaughters, one grandson, three great-granddaughters, and two great-grandsons.
