Personal and Family Life
Sim was married to Marie-Claude Roul from July 18, 1970, until his death. He was previously married to Jacqueline Blanchet, with whom he had two children. He was the father of Laurence and the grandfather of Alexandre and Mickaël. Before his acting career, Sim worked at the Casino De Paris, training performers for a revue show.
Death and Legacy
Sim died from a pulmonary embolism on September 6, 2009, in Fréjus, Var, France. He left behind a legacy in French cinema, particularly through his memorable roles in the Asterix films. His contributions to comedy and film continue to be appreciated by fans around the world.
