Stephanie Griffin was born on March 15, 1934, in Valley City, Ohio, to Noel and Alice Griffin. She moved with her mother and sisters to West Hollywood in 1941, where she later graduated from Liverpool High School. Stephanie married David L. March in June 1955, but they divorced in December 1956. She then married James L. Raskin in March 1957, with whom she had three daughters: Kathleen, Jamianne, and Tamara.
Career
Stephanie began her career as a model and actress, making her television debut in 1954 on “The Ford Television Theater.” Over the years, she appeared in several popular shows, including “The Great Gildersleeve” and “The Bob Hope Show.” Her only film role was in “The Last Wagon” in 1956. After years away from acting, she returned for her final role in “The Karen Carpenter Story” in 1989.
