Stephen Lee was born on November 11, 1955, in Englewood, New Jersey. He spent the first 15 years of his life in Europe, where his family had a background in the casino industry, with his father involved in making slot machines. Lee later moved back to the U.S., attended Hickman High School, and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Avila College in Kansas City, Missouri.

Career

Lee began his acting career after returning to the U.S. in 1970 and appeared in over 200 TV shows and movies. He was proficient in English, German, French, and Spanish and had a passion for activities like golf, tennis, and horseback riding. Notable guest appearances include roles in “NCIS,” “Boston Legal,” and “Bones,” earning him critical acclaim as an actor.

On August 14, 2014, Stephen Lee passed away from a heart attack in his apartment in Los Angeles. After his death, his ashes were scattered at sea, as per his wishes. Lee is remembered for his significant contribution to film and television, as well as his dedication to his craft.
