Steve Ihnat was married to Sally Carter-Ihnat from May 23, 1970, until his death in 1972. They had one child together, Stefan Ihnat. Unfortunately, Steve’s son, Stefan, died at the age of 32 after battling diabetes. Ihnat’s widow later married Peter Marshall, the host of The Hollywood Squares.
Career
Steve moved to the United States in 1958 to follow his dream of becoming an actor. He studied at the Pasadena Playhouse and served in the Army during the Korean War. While he worked in various films and television series, he never became a U.S. citizen.
