Suzette Tarri was born Ada Barbara Henrietta Tarry on January 2, 1881, in Shoreditch, London, England. She was the daughter of Alfred Andrew Tarry and Harriett Matilda Child. Tarri was married to Thomas MacDuff Copeland from December 30, 1905, until his death on November 3, 1947, and they had two children together. Later, she married David Edmund Jenkins, who remained with her until her passing.

Suzette Tarri passed away on October 10, 1955, in Southgate, London, England, just a few years after her second marriage.
