Sybil Williams

Sybil Williams was an American actress who is best known for her roles in The Steve Lawrence Show, The David Susskind Show, and The Young Set. Born on March 27, 1929, in Tylorstown, Glamorganshire, Wales, she later moved to the United States where she achieved fame.

Personal and Family Life

Sybil Williams married Richard Burton in 1949, and they had two daughters, Kate and Jessica. Jessica faced severe autism and was placed in an institution by the age of six. After divorcing Burton in 1963, she later married Jordan Christopher, with whom she had a daughter in 1967. Williams remained connected to her roots, being a good friend of fellow Welsh actor Stanley Baker.
