Timothy Jenkins was an American actor who is best known for his roles in “Happy Birthday Gemini,” “A Midsummer Night’s Sex Comedy,” and “The Bonfire of the Vanities.”

Personal and Family Life

Timothy Jenkins was born on December 5, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, to Wade and Rosemary. He was the middle child in a large family with nine siblings. He graduated from Redford Union High School in 1967 and then attended Mercy College, where he was actively involved in theater. After achieving success in local theater, he moved to New York City to pursue acting.

Career

Jenkins began his acting career with a role in “Happy Birthday Gemini” in 1980, having previously played the same character on stage in Chicago. He took on various supporting and walk-on roles in numerous television shows and films. Jenkins spent many years in New York before returning to Redford, Michigan, in 1999 due to health issues.

Death and Legacy

Timothy Jenkins passed away on April 5, 2000, from heart failure in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. His contributions to theater and film have left a lasting impression on his family and friends, as well as the communities he was a part of.
