Txema Blasco, born José María Blasco Etxeguren, completed his primary education at local schools in Vitoria. After losing his mother at the age of 13, he started working at a company called Aranzabal as a bellboy while continuing his studies. He eventually became the company’s accountant after five years. Alongside his day job, he performed in theatre groups and was part of a clown duo called “Hermanos Chetti,” where he acted in over 4,300 performances.
Career
In 1992, Txema decided to leave his accounting job to focus entirely on acting. He enjoyed a successful career in film and television, taking on various notable roles. In his later years, due to health issues, he moved to the Sagrada Familia de Cucho residence in Burgos.
