Vadim Glowna was an American actor best known for his roles in Cross of Iron (1977), Desperado City (1981), and Dies rigorose Leben (1983).

Vadim Glowna was born on September 26, 1941, in Eutin, Germany. He was married to Vera Tschechowa from 1967 until their divorce in 1990, and they have one child together. Throughout his life, he held various jobs, including working as a sailor, taxi driver, drummer, and journalist in Hamburg, before dedicating himself to acting.

Career

Glowna made his film debut as a baby in the 1943 film Immensee – Ein deutsches Volkslied. His film Desperado City received the Golden Camera at the Cannes Film Festival in 1981. He was also a member of the jury at the Berlin International Film Festival in 1989.

Death and Legacy

Vadim Glowna passed away on January 24, 2012, in Berlin, Germany. His contributions to film and theater are remembered, especially for his versatile performances that spanned several decades and genres.
