Vince Townsend Jr.

Vince Townsend Jr. was an American actor best known for his roles in Weird Science, Porgy and Bess, and Never Wave at a WAC. He was also notable for his achievements as the first African-American attorney in Los Angeles, California, and served as a Municipal Court Judge.

Vince Townsend Jr. was born on April 12, 1906, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Apart from acting, he was an honorable reverend at First AME Church in Los Angeles. He was a roommate of Thurgood Marshall during their time at Howard University School of Law, where they both pursued their legal careers.
