Vincent Anthony Cipolla was born on July 7, 1944, in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, to Vincent and Angelina Cipolla. He completed his education at Lyndhurst High School in 1963. Vincent married Betty Grillo in 1965 and together they had three children: Vincent, Laurie, and Charles. After his divorce and retirement from the police force, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, with his two sons to pursue an acting career.
