Vivian Dandridge was an American actress who is best known for her roles in The Big Broadcast of 1936, Scrub Me Mama with a Boogie Beat, and Brown Sugar. She was born on April 22, 1921, in Cleveland, Ohio, and passed away on October 26, 1991, in Seattle, Washington.

Vivian Dandridge was born to Ruby Dandridge and was the older sister of famous actress Dorothy Dandridge. Throughout her life, she was married four times, including to Gustav Friedrich and Ralph Bledsoe. She also had a notable relationship with actor Emmett ‘Babe’ Wallace, which resulted in the birth of her son, Michael Emmett Wallace, in 1943.

Death and Legacy

Vivian Dandridge died on October 26, 1991, due to a stroke in Seattle, Washington. After her career, she lived a quiet life under the name Marina Rozell, distancing herself from the public eye.
