Vsevolod Dmitriyevich Larionov was born on September 11, 1928, in Moscow, RSFSR, USSR. He came from a family with artistic roots, being the nephew of acclaimed actress Sophia Giatsintova. Larionov studied at the Theater School at the Lenin Komsomol Theater and later at the Theater Faculty of GITIS, graduating in 1950 and 1965, respectively.

Career

In 1950, he began his acting career at the Lenin Komsomol Theater, initially portraying romantic heroes before showcasing his comedic talent. He gained popularity for his roles in adventure films, making his mark with “Fifteen Year Old Captain” and later shifting to portray more complex and negative characters. His most notable performance was as Sergei Diaghilev in “Anna Pavlova,” solidifying his place in Russian cinema.

Death and Legacy
