Wanda Rogers was an American actress who is best known for her roles in Don’t Forget the Motorcity, Unsung, and Backstory: Kenny Rogers. She was also the lead singer of the Motown girl-group The Marvelettes.

Wanda Rogers was born on August 9, 1943, in Eloise, Michigan. She was married to Bobby Rogers from December 18, 1963, until their divorce in 1975, and they had two children together. She had a large family, including several siblings and was survived by her three children: Meta Ventress, Bobbae Rogers, and Robert Rogers III.

Death and Legacy

Wanda Rogers passed away on December 15, 2021, in Garden City, Michigan, due to complications from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Her legacy lives on through her music and performances, as well as her beloved family, which includes seven grandchildren and a great-grandson. Tragically, her daughter Miracle passed away in 2015, highlighting the challenges faced by her family.
