William Fox

William Fox was an American actor born on January 26, 1911, in Manila, Philippines. He is best known for his roles in The Mulberry Accelerator, The Escape of R.D.7, and The Terrorists. He had a lengthy and successful career as a character actor until his passing.

Personal and Family Life

William Fox was the son of a prosperous merchant adventurer who traded along the South China Sea. He was educated at Haileybury, where he began his journey into acting. Throughout his life, he was married to Patricia Hilliard from 1938 until her death in 2001 and previously to Carol Rees, with whom he had one child before their divorce.
