Zack Norman

Zack Norman, also known as Howard Zuker, was an American actor who is best known for his roles in Romancing the Stone, Cadillac Man, and Ragtime. He had a diverse career as an actor, comedian, producer, and financier, contributing to both film and television.

Personal and Family Life

Zack Norman was born Howard Jerrold Zuker on May 27, 1940, in Boston, Massachusetts. He was married twice, first to Norma Blumenthal Somers, with whom he had one child, and then to Nancy Zuker, with whom he had two children. He had a sibling named Jane Zuker. Throughout his career, he often collaborated with independent filmmaker Henry Jaglom on numerous projects.

Death and Legacy

Zack Norman passed away on April 28, 2024, in Burbank, California, due to bilateral pneumonia related to COVID-19. He left behind a legacy of memorable performances in both film and television, having produced and financed more than forty films, including the Academy Award-winning documentary Hearts And Minds.
